‘Young people benefit from a highly supportive, caring and nurturing environment. Staff provide young people with well-planned, highly individualised care that promotes their needs effectively. The home’s care and support contribute to change and improvement in young people’s lives. Young people enjoy warm and secure relationships with staff. They benefit from continuity of care and have consistency and stability in their lives.’

Ofsted 2018 – Redstone House

‘The home meets the aims and objectives set out in the home’s statement of purpose, by delivering a high-quality service for young people that makes a positive and significant difference to their lives. A social worker reports, ‘He’s done remarkably well since living at the home. He’s accessed therapy and formed good relationships with the staff. He has come on leaps and bounds. He considers the home to be his family home.’

Ofsted 2018 – Bluestone House

‘Young people have continued to make progress in key areas of their lives, including education, health and contact with people who are important to them. Staff work hard to ensure young people have the same opportunities as their peers including pursuing their own individual interests and hobbies. One young person had recently started climbing lessons and had excelled in this. The young people were also looking forward to their Easter holiday. They have been involved in the planning of the holiday and were excited about staying in yurts and trying new outward bound activities. This has increased young people‟s confidence and self-esteem.’
